Fifth Annual Chili and Wings Cook-Off —
LAKEVILLE, PA - A winning remedy for winter chills has been created at Caesars Pocono Resorts. Cove Haven Resort’s Sweetheart Chili entry was the Judge’s Choice First Place winner at the Fifth Annual Chamber of Commerce Chili & Wings Cook-Off held on January 28, 2007.
Cove Haven Resort’s Cook-Off team included Dan Drake, Ross Rosencrance, Mike Russo, Ray Mandaro and Dave Weston. Judging categories included Judge’s First, Second, and Third Place as well as People’s Choice.
The event was presented by the Hawley-Lake Wallenpaupack Chamber of Commerce and major sponsors in 2007 were Banko Beverage Company and Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Restaurant, with numerous area businesses participating in other sponsorship and prize donation opportunities.
