Headlining across the country, Shubert describes his comedy as a cross between Denis Leary and Dennis Miller; his routine is usually performed with an observational point of view, in short-story form, and typically focuses on poking fun at current events.
Shubert got his first big movie break as a club bouncer in the 1999 film Go. Since then, he’s been in a few movies, including Coyote Ugly in 2000, One Hour Photo, starring comedian Robin Williams, in 2002, and The Italian Job. Shubert also has a recurring role on the CBS comedy The King of Queens and is featured on Comedy Central Presents Jimmy Shubert.
